Ouch, my eyes. This was a rude awakening this morning, at first I thought my computer was borkinated. But all in all, I like it, especially if it helps Chris and the rest of the admin/mod team run this place.

The new balloon smilies suck, though. And if we do keep this current color scheme, then I think the logo should become Laguna Blue, just to keep with tradition.

Chris, and the rest of the admin/mod team, good work as always. Your hard work and dedication to the site is always appreciated.

Thanks Chris for all the hard work you do keeping this site here for all. I was surprised but have a good impression. It certainly looks more up to date. I might need to keep on ny shades though!

Also, when sending a PM I like that it allows one to preview the post/message again before sending it.

Eek! I was surprised just like everyone else. I do believe it will take some getting used to. And I'm sure it will be better once it's complete.

I like the new scheme. Fresh and modern. I am sure it has all the old capabilities of the previous version plus some new ones. Just give Chris some time to figure out where things were moved and we will have the old stuff back plus some new stuff too. Sure, it would be nice to update the smileys with some more variety like all the other sites have that use Vbulletin and hopefully Chris will unlock more of them.

As for the Network logo, I think it could use an update. I never cared for the drab gray. I think it needs more color in the worse way. Current one would be great color scheme for say, the Dodge Dart Network, but the SVX deserves a little more pizzazz(sp?) and personality to match that of our cars.

I think it's cool that you can immediately see who uses an instant messenger. I think my yahoo and aim buddy lists are going to get longer!

The lockers are not lost. Just in limbo. All the pictures and data is still there. The problem is that the php code for it was intergrated with the old software instead of being a plug in module. The code will have to be re-worked. Again, its not lost for good. This might however require some time.

if you'd like, i could change the colors on the logo to match the new website (or whatever colors it ends up with...). i have a cool Photochop add-on that makes it pretty easy.

i was thinking a chrome or brushed aluminum style "SVX".

let me know and i'll send you some samples.

This is sooo true, the quick reply is one fantastic feature that keeps me coming back to the Nabisco site, its for us people that are either too lazy to post a formal reply, or for those of us that work on 56k and every fewer page to load is a good one (or those of us that are both of the above

)
Besides, this new site format isnt terribly different from that one, so the encoding and what not has got to be in there somewhere right?
