icetrak vs wintertrak

Yeah I checked these out too but the wintertrak was only in 70 series which I thought were too tall for the SVX

Icetrak was lower in profile and has more of those tiny siping slits for grip on ice (or so they promise). Anyway they work great on the SVX

Talking made me feel better

i never learned my lesson huh.... want to call tow truck again?
yesternite i went to the another parking lot to have fun...(got to do it b4 they cleared off the snow - snowstorm shld be over...) ..ohhh..i got stuck again. did i need to call tow truck again? that parking lot was not as high as the other night i got stuck. (probably 8 to 9" or more) this time, i used force...R and D (second-manual function wouldn't work in that situation)...rpm-4-5k...wow...the svx's tail was swinging like a snake...after that i could see some portions of the ground surface...well...quickly used the traction and got out of there.. no tow truck. yes. what made me feel better was...hehe....i saw a WRX, Mazda Tribute(ford escape) and a Jeep got stuck at that parking lot too...

Richard, you have so many AWD things...which one handles the thick, thick snow the best??? How's the ML320? Wow, I really like the ML500 Addition question, which one of your cars has the best handling and ride quality?

Thanks.....

A Jeep stuck in 8-9 inches of snow? It must've been 2wd or had bald tires. Those thing are high enough that they shouldn't have any problems getting going in the stuff, though turning and stopping might be another matter.

My SVX couldn't make it up my driveway with 2in of snow on it after I just put on some RE720s. That when I decided to buy another car to drive in the winter, and bought the Loyal.
