I have a 97 grill on mine and a waterfall grill on the wife's. I really do not like the older grills much. Looking at the two everyday makes me want to get a smallcar grill for her car. I just get this yucky mercury sable feeling when I look at her svx.

Just install red and blue bulbs that flash alternatly in the waterfall to help aleviate traffic congestion ahead of you

I'm still a big fan of the waterfall. Gives symmetry to the front with a smooth unbroken line across the front of the car, which matches the full-width tail light panel across the rear. A while back I put a 97 grille on my original pearlie and my outspoken assistant convinced me to take out (She said that grille on a pearl car looked like the mouth of a catfish waiting for a hook) and put the original "smiling" waterfall back in...

When you get to Reading, I can show you how to get rid of your condensation permanently, just by drilling two small 1/4" unseen holes in the grille (but not in the most likely spot). It seems funny that drilling more holes cures the problem better than trying to seal the grille.

Well thats easy for you to say, your headlights and grill look like they just came off the showroom. I was a long time supporter of the waterfall grill for the same reasons you mention, but the finnish on my grill was getting pretty bad and the condensation was the killer. Plus I need to do something with my headlights soon, they only hold a luster for a day or two befor clouding up again. I tried to just paint the old grill all black just to make it look better than a cloudy fish tank, but I didn't really prep it very well first So I may just end up at Reading with no grill for now.
