30 minutes a day is good. If you want to build muscle, do only one set per excersise, go very slow, and lift to the point of exhustion. I sometimes think of random numbers in my head so that I don't have the tendency to do exactly ten. But you want to keep it around that number.

I find that pint containers of Ben & Jerry's ice cream work great. They get lighter every day I use them, so I must be getting stronger.

No, really, I ride 2 or 3 times a week with a couple guys from my office. In any other office, it'd be weird hitting the trails with my boss, but he also used to be a pro skateboarder.

We've had very little rain this summer, so the trails are REALLY dusty and the hills are badly eroded and washed out. But I also have to say that Michigan has really surprised me - we have some fantastic trails in this state.

Cool, you guys are into biking? What kinda bikes do you have? I just bought a diamondback this summer. Rockshocks and everything. I love it so far, though it is a bit heavier than my old trek.

Seems like us radio guys have a lot in common. I'm lo-carbing and doing crunches and push-ups (lost 15 lbs in 6 weeks).

I used to work out five days a week (my wife was the ladies manager at a health spa -- free, 24 hour access to Nautilus, Free weights and DynaCam), but, gave it up cuz my cigarette wouldn't stay lit in the steam bath (just kidding).

Just remember these simple rules: High weight and low reps for bulk, low weight and high reps for tone.

30 minutes per day, three days per week was the recommended program for my wife's spa clients.

There are a lot of things that are dumb. I gave up cigarettes. Cigars are much more classy.

I keep fit by hard work and chasing my employees. (Trying to catch the kids also helps.)

Just bought a new pusher, Lee Cougan, with mudguards, carrier, suspension and dynamo lights. Her indoors says that it proves I am getting old.

Andy

ps I only smoke after sex

Well, I'm only recently back in the saddle. I rode a lot for years and then sorta not and now I am again.

I have two road bikes and a mountain bike. One of the road bikes I built up out of spare parts on a nice steel frame. The other road bike is a Trek aluminum. The mountain bike is a gorgeous Schwinn S(nine-5).2 I couldn't afford now, but could as a poor college kid because bike shop employees get deep discounts on bikes.

My .2 has the best fork Rock Shox ever made - the Mag 21 air/oil. Sadly, rebuild kits are getting scarce and eventually I'll have to replace it.

Oh, and my .2 also has one of the coolest color names ever: Kiss the Sky Blue. Scratches are part of the mountain bike experience, but I still feel like crying when I leave some of that beautiful paint on a rock.
