O/T, 2 short stories

1. Title: Opinions. My beautiful wife and I were having a spirited discussion (not an argument - a discussion). At one point she said, "This is about your opinion versus mine, or did God come down here and personally instruct you?"

2. Title: Arguments. There is a point where people are tottering on the brink of argument - those partnered for some time must recognize this phenomenon - to push, or not to push. It was one of those days and my wife said, "You think you're perfect don't you!" With a smile I said, "Maybe I could be a little taller."

After 12 years I've learn a few things about arguing with my wife.

Don't, don't and don't.

Especially in front of the little ones. The other day in the car we start to get into a 'little discussion' about whatever and the 5YO in the backseat asks..."Are you arguing....again!"

"No honey, just having a 'spirited' conversation"
