Tom, I got the pump.

I also recieved the 3.9 transmission today. I hope/assume it's in better shape inside than outside. I'm going to have to sandblast it before I put it in my car. I don't roll with corosion.

I got the heads off the bench engine and to the machine shop for a light surface grind, valve job, and pressure test. I've decided not to open up the short block. It looks like it's in pretty good shape so I'm going to leave well enough alone there and just reassemble the engine with new gaskets and seals.

I've matched up the throttle body adaptors with the manifolds they fit best and am plugging away at further fitting them so that they line up nicely with the manifolds.

The factory engine seems to do just fine so no no forged pistons for this engine. Like I said. I'm not even going to take the short block apart.

ok, just let me know if they may be available in the future. I would like to go with some higher boost #'s if the power doesn't feel like it is enough

OH it will feel like enough. I belive pantera ordered some flat top forged svx pistons from cp a while back. If you want to go ahead and step up to forged pistons I'd call cp and see if they still have the specs.

I ground the flanges flat on on the IAC manifolds so they are done now and I ground the passenger side of the throttle body adaptors flat for mounting the bypass valve. I also finished massaging the bolt pattern on each of the throttle body adaptors in order to line each up level with the particular manifold I've matched them with.

The last manifold/throttle body adaptor combination pictured is the one that I was last using. That's why it already has the bypass tubing and is powder coated.

ok, I got the pieces of tubing for the bypass valve all cut.

I also got the transmission cleaned up and the shop ready for the driveline swap.

No none of the 2nd batch orders have come through yet.

I welded enough of the tubing elbows for the bypass for the 1st and 2nd batch and left the rest for later. The big time savings there in doing a big batch is in the cutting--I cut plenty of pieces for later; I just did't weld them.

I don't remember if I've already said I ground the supercharger flanges on the throttle body adaptors yet or not but I have and I drilled and tapped the throttle body adaptors for the bypass valves.

I welded the tubing on the manifolds for the bypass as well. The manifolds and throttle body adaptors are now done being fabricated and ready to be finished. I'm going to have to do some more paint removal at least on the white manifold and then they are ready for powder coating.

It snowed in the mountains today so technically it is still snowing just not in the valley. It has snowed in august before. I would like to have a little fun with it before I can't.

I'm plugging away at the driveline swap now. I guess I'll take some pictures of the engine going together and the rear end. I think the engine is going together tomorrow.
