Interesting little detail on the stock front differential

I was looking at my original user manual today (because I was bored), and noticed something interesting about the stock gearing setup. I must have missed this little detail before, but did anyone else here know that the FWD model has a lower final drive ratio for the front diff than the AWD?

Here's what I found:
AWD gearing chart
1st: 2.875
2nd: 1.545
3rd: 1.000
4th: 0.694
Rev: 2.272

Reduction: 1.000

Front final drive: 3.545
Rear final drive: 3.545

FWD gearing chart
1st: 2.875
2nd: 1.545
3rd: 1.000
4th: 0.694
Rev: 2.272

Reduction: 0.927

Front final drive: 3.700
Rear final drive: ------

Ever since my initial visit to the board, I've seen many members complaining that the stock 3.545 isn't low enough (and some have therefore modded a 4.11 or 4.44 into the equation). I agree. But since I've got a 3.70 instead, I don't really feel that badly about it anymore. It's still not low enough, but just an interesting point...
