leather vs. cloth
Actually I just read a bulletin from Subaru saying that the seat heaters tend to work better on cloth seats because they are more porous than leather, and allow more heat to pass through. I think this is also the reason that cloth seats are cooler in the summer.

Any of our Canadian members thinking of crashing their car soon? Actually, anyone know of a site with a good database for finding used canadian parts. I've got a great one for us but in this one instance that won't help me.

The Canadian SVX's did not have heated seats in 92. Also, trying to find a 94+ Canadian SVX that is for sale for a reasonable price is nearly impossible! Parts cars...what parts cars??
I know of an owner in Winnipeg who had the seat heaters installed in his (very nice) 92 claret. Haven't spoken to him in a while though.

I'll take the beige svx interior over the grey any day. The carpet doesn't fade either. That would drive me crazy. Anyone else notice how they wandered over to only beige interiors in the lsi's in the later years? I love my 94 but i could go for an ebony pearl 97 lsi too. |
