if you know a few boys at the bodyshop, it's easy to do it. I myself have a screw-on repeaters (for now).

Nice photos

Good pics James.

Your friend knows what he is about, doesn't he??

Hard colour to catch, that dark grey. Car looks in great condition.

Any news on your accelerating problem??

Joe

Thanks Joe....yep, he seems to know his stuff alright and has the equipment to back him up too! *I am in the wrong career!!*

Its hard to see the grey unless the light is right..then it looks quite light....although I really wanted yellow, I am actually happier that I ended up with this colour.....only about 7 that I know of in Oz in this colour.

Tried some lubricant on the cable and seemed to be ok - hope to drive Blakes so I get a point of reference

Cheers

James

Thumbs up The cable guy

Good so James.

The throttle cable is on the left, cruise on the right.

Just remember one thing. If your cable was only dry, then lube is a permanent fix.

If your cable is frayed, as I suspect from the resistance you mentioned, then lube will help, but it may still snap sometime later and leave you stranded someplace. [Outback maybe?? ]

Balance the cost of replacement against the inconvenience or danger of this. This is a 10 year old car remember.

Best of luck with it.

Joe
