Started to Laugh.... but then thought
We've been good...(lucky?) with all of our meets....I don't recall hearing of one accident during a SVX meet here in the States

I want to say there was one that ditched out during a run sometime between 2003-2005 and the video is actually on the svxiw IIRC. I know I downloaded it quite a while ago, didn't show the ordeal just the aftermath, nothing quite so serious either but still sucks.

I started to laugh too, but you're right - this should be seen as a cautionary tale by the enthusiast community.
Shortly after I got my STi I joined a 'fun run' with some other Subie folks. We had a great time romping around on some remote back roads. Then we got on a freeway to head back to our starting point. A handful of the cars lined up and charged down the left lane at extralegal speed; they were following one another very closely. (I declined to join.) I'd put money on a similar scene being played out in the case of these Ferraris.

GreenMarine went into a Reducing Radius Downhill curve to fast, and got loose when he tried to slow it down ...it was at the Dragon Meet, but wasn't on the Dragon, it was on the Cherohala Skyway .... The year before Harry Flipped his SVX during the Dragon Meet, it too was on the Cherohala Skyway, not on the Actual Dragon....I have a picture of the carnage at work...will try to remeber to post it Monday...We also lost an XT6 the Same year Harry flipped his SVX

I remember being in the diner at the dragon when the news of Harry's rollover came through. Luckily he was OK. He had the sunroof open and only the shoulder belt on, but was unharmed.

That looks like it was pretty bad, how did it happen? Whatever became of the SVX, was it parted out?
