I still do have possibly the oldest Fuji Heavy Industries product in the US sitting in the garage though.
Sorry to hear of your loss.

You've piqued my curiosity about the old FHI product in your garage. Does this thing feature a 2-stroke flat twin of modest displacement?

I'm with you though, nothing at a dealership today holds any appeal for me. That's not just limited to my brand of choice, but any brand for that matter. I wonder if I'll ever own a car built in the 21st century.

Buying parts is like car payments. Someday she'll be all mine.

No smoker, 4 stroke all the way. 1958 model year. It does however feature an automatic transmission and resulted in a copyright lawsuit with VW in the arly 70s for theft of a model name.

There are a couple cars on dealer lots I'd be into. Just a the Morgan Aero or Plus 8 here though sadly. Heck there are very few trucks out there today I'd want either.

The more times I make you drive that Baron de Le of yours the sooner I no longer have to wave to all the old people I mistake for you on the road as you'll tade it in on a 5th Ave

There isn't a single Jaguar owner on the planet who can even "see" a Chrysler... let alone drag race with one. They just don't lower themselves that far when sitting on 12 dead cows.

yeah all he saw was a silver flash anyhow so maybe he is "slow" to notice faster objects like most Jag owners are.

I have dead cows in my car too... but mine are faster since they come from Germany.

I noticed that land yacht of yours has parking sensors. Does it beep loud enough for the tow truck driver to know when he is close enough to grab it by the rear wheels when the tranny grenades?

not a single damn thing here makes sense.

Who would expect sense to be found in a debate over which is better between a LeBaron and a Kia???

Jag would never put that good of quality parts in their car. Remember the old days when Jag used the GM TH350??? and they thought that was good enough.

There's a Morgan dealership a few blocks from my work, and right next to where I take guitar lessons, so I'll give you that. Their greatest asset is their classic appeal (reinforcing my stance that "modern" cars are garbage). As far as I know, that's the only dealership in North America though, and the Aero that they had on display briefly has gone back home, so my statement still stands.

As for the FHI relic:
We are talking about a 360 right? I've searched this transmission-lawsuit thing, and come up with a blank. My first assumption was an old Robin generator or something because your signature doesn't mention any kei-goodness. Maybe it's a big garage, and there's a WWII Nakajima Bomber sitting in there.

Anyhow, nice Jaaaaaaaaag. My girlfriend really liked your LGT, which she never says about the cars I show her online. Wish we'd been able to take that off your hands.

oh I'm not saying mine is better...his has double the power, double the seats, double the trunk room, and takes double the premimum fuel. That thing therefore makes it atleast 8x better then my car since it is double the price.

stay out of our pi$$ing match

Sorry to burst your bubble same tranny used on the AMGs. At least the TH was reliable and lasted past 100k. It was sure to make it to 105k. At the time though, who else made a tranny that could handle the torque of the 12?
