PPG Pace Car Comemmorative
PACE CAR COMMEMORATIVE
As you all know by now, the PPG SVX Pace Car made it’s first-ever appearance at a private event, and it was most fitting that it should be Reading X. To celebrate and commemorate this historic occasion, we are producing a limited run of black baseball caps, with silver and purple lettering to mark Reading X as “the Year of the Pace car” Pre-orders will be taken at the Reading meet and are limited to only those who were actually in attendance to witness this event; they will not be made available to the general network. The caps will be sold for $20.00 each, which includes shipping to anywhere in the country. The cost reflects the caps, original shipping, re-shipping to you and a small donation from each cap goes to the network. No profits are being made for this project. If the cost goes down, we will include the difference with your order or just contribute the extra to the network. There will be only one production run and then they are gone forever. Just as with the Pace car appearance, this will only happen once. At future Reading meets when the subject of the Pace Car comes up, just wear this cap to say that “I was there”. .
