Sounds like they need to be adjusted......You can un-bolt the wiper arms and adjust them eaisly. If that isn't the problem (and you might want to check this first) make sure the size of the wipers installed is correct.

Unbolt the arms, remove them and reset them a little to the left. Check how they work before you bolt them back on. Make sure it's o.k with the winter mode too. (that’s the switch below the steering column)

Sometimes we have to live with it. It seems like they travel too far. Mine do this too. They park on the bumpers correctly yet still hit the "A" pillar.

Maybe the wiper computer needs to be reset, did you disconnect the battery for 3-6 months to clear the memory? Then, starting from the drivers door, JOG around the car clockwise three times, WALK counterclockwise two times, SKIP clockwise four times, WALK BACKWARDS counterclockwise one time. Follow these instructions very carefully or your warranty will be voided and your transmission will immediately fail!

Just kidding, everything else on the car is computer controlled . . .

i had the same issue after a windshield replacement... make sure your wiper is set to normal (not winter) then adjust it as far as u can on those rubber bumpers so they're tucked away as far as possible. i did that and they wont hit your A pillar-crank that bolt up tight, on the highway at 200 miles an hour they will come loose otherwize

At that speed the wipers will be standing straight up!

You still never told anyone which Ontario you live in.

Here's another hint, it's not between the top of the dash dash and windshield......

It's located at the bottom of the dashboard, just left of the steering column.
