photo was reversed (a RHD JDM pic)?

i'm pretty sure its not a photochop, but if it is, its pretty well done.

It's a photshop for certain. Look at the side of the spoiler and you can see where they grafted two different cars together. It's looks like an '05 STI, with the '06 headlights and a re-designed front grill. Also, the back window mounted rear spoiler is missing that's present on all '06 STIs...

yeah, now that i look at it again, it is. i wasn't sure about the rear diffuser - at that angle it could be hidden.

still, a good chop.

That's what I thought too....but if it was reversed, then the STi badge would be backwards instead

I think that's a hasty thing to say. That looks like a body kit to me. It's not the first time somebody has posted a new STi with the front fascia replaced.

You don't think that GM is just copying Subaru to try and sell to more of the young crowd? If the 06 STi redesign were US only I would have to agree with you, but GM on has slight ties with SOA. I highly doubt FHI is ever going to be influenced by GM. The only similarities are the headlights and wing. If the redline were a different color it wouldn't look so similar. There are plrenty of other companies out there designing headlights that look similar to that, and rear wings basically all look the same.
