On SPEED, they said that everyone would have to run a Transverse motor.....Subaru runs a longditudal motor, hence the problem...

this happens in all sorts of racing. their was a turbine powered car in F1 in the 70's and half way through the race they said that turbines were disqualified because the car was insanely faster and better handeling than the other cars. also turbines get better gas mileg so he had to pit a hole lot less and use a smaller fuel cell.

Don't know where you got your facts, but here you go.

i saw it in a pop sci magizene they said it was a good performer. i look up the article when i get a chance.

but i see what their saying about the turbine engine. turbines have a sort of turbo lag to them both ways in decel and accel so it does make sence.

i serously doubt subaru will never change they will drop out before they make it transverse layout

i heard rumors that mitsu is strugling to keep afloat and going to be in serous debt in the next few years hence the new waranty program they offer now

i wish ford would wake up and bring the focus rs !!!! i would go american for that car,

Well mitsubish has been in finacial troulbe for a couple years now and almost went under untill some investers put up up alot of money, i think they just lost over 500 milion last quarter.

I dought these rules will go into affect with out some thing included so subaru can rally and not have to complety change there cars, subaru has put to much into the WRC to just drive them away, like these rules would.
