When I first got my SVX I called it Cinderella. It reminded me of her Glass slipper when different colors were reflecting off of the Pearl, but it didn't fit well with me, so finally after the 5 speed and other misc. parts from other cars it became Frankenstein. Darren

Frankenstein never scared me............
Marsupials do.........cause they're fast

My sweetheart, by baby...

I named mine Alyssa. Goddess of Logic.

Everything she's ever done to me, she's had a good logical reason to do it. EVERYTHING. Im just not sure what that reason is sometimes....

Baby, Sweetheart, sweetie and a shorter form of 'female dog' also work, depending on the situation.

and I personally DO believe it to be important to give your car a name. whats wrong with all the rest of you people? Your merely pissing your car off by not listening to her/him to find out their name....

What's in a name?

I spent sometime looking for a name. I found a good one. Skyla, a six headed mythical greek monster. Very fitting for the beast of a car. When she doesn't cooperate, it's Beastie, or Matilda, or piece of (four letter word for manure starting with a "C"). But now, she's been waxed, and repaired, so she's sexy skyla.

Had an XT6 named Sugaroo (3 year old son couldn't say, "Subaru")

Call my '92 Claret SVX, "Sue" but it just doesn't seem to fit her right.

So still looking.

I sometimes call my SVX "my baby", but everytime I say it, my girl friend gets jealous

Some Japanese people call SVX "Kujira" meaning a whale in Japanese. I don't know why they do though.

Depending on how shes driving - if she's just been washed - or if the understeer bias just isn't working out for this particular corner at this particular speed.
I was in Eugene for 3 years before, went to Univ of Oregon. Where do you usually drive around? That time I didn't have SVX, so I couldn't do anything fun, but I used to drive around Eugene a lot. I miss that place. When I went back to Eugene from LA last year, I saw only one silver SVX, some college girl was driving. She actually almost hit MY SVX though. When I was with SVX in Eugene I got some reaction from people, that was fun. Seems like people in Northwest have more interest in this car.

Washing a car in Eugene is great, but always rain next day
