It's really quite simple. Remove the entire door panel by removing the two screws to the front of the door (at the A-pillar). Remove the panel under the door opening handle and remove the screw under it. Then, pull the felt from the arm rest well and remove the two screws under that. Grab the door panel at the front (near the A-pillar) and begin to pop it off. All fasteners are at the bottom of the panel. Just keep pulling until they've all been popped. Then, just lift the panel upward. The top of the panel rests on a lip against the window. Once the panel is free, unplug the door lock and courtesy light plug. The panel is free to "play with" now. You can see where the ecsaine panel is attached. Just remove the fasteners and take the ecsaine panel to the shop of your choice for reupholstry.

I'm sure it could be, but, if you do a search on "door panel" you'll find that I've typed these instructions several times. I could do it with my eyes closed now.

There is a photo how-to I did a while back. You have to search though.

Hey, mine has 3 screws under the felt.....

Reinstallation tip -- make sure to get the lock latch correctly engaged in the door panel before you put it back on.

Don't get me wrong, I have also had my door apart many times and agree it is easy, but unlike yourself I prefer to "do it" with my eyes open.
I was just thinking since the question was asked and the answer is up in front of everyone why not add it in the how to and avoid having the question asked again in the future.

Casue we have such a healthy community that new people join every day and those people often ask first before pressing the search button.

But ask away. We can always copy and paste.

Somebody must've added one. Maybe the door was loose.

(wondering how many other things Randy - given his advanced age - can now do with his eyes closed )

You might just be surprised. Okay, maybe you wouldn't.
