Smokies Meet for the Southeast area!!!

Hey all, what's up?!?!?! Well I just wanted to let everyone know that the Southeast is going to be having a meet in OakRidge, TN on the 17th,18th and 19th of October... The drive will include a run on the Dragon and then over to Tellico Plains for lunch... There should be atleast 2 5 speed SVX's there, Myself and Huck... Also there is suppose to be a few "wedges"(XT6's) there too... If anyone is interested there is a list in the Southeast Forum, but I'll go ahead and copy it here too... So put your name wherever you like...

No rap? ...might be worth the price of admission just for that. I made the trip for the 2001 meet. Any special SVX lodging arrangements in Oak Ridge?

Ron (person of interest).

Great meet - we had a great time. Everyone kept the shiny side up on the dragon and cherhola. Huck had some very cool svx-xt6 shirts made up and Bill (svxter) got Earl Duff to spring for some cool Sti hats and dashmagnets!

We took a long drive from OakRidge to the dragon following the whole Cherhola skyway loop up over 5000 ft. Met up with Harry (Noir) at the tail of the dragon and made a run through. Tony (Crash) and I weren't satisfied with only one try so we ran it 2 more times and managed to get out without too much trauma despite some sliding around.

My roll of film came out horrible. It seems my 20 year old camera has finally developed an issue. It is currently at the shop getting a rebuild. Got more miles out of it then a SVX tranny though I guess. Too bad I don't have any decent pics. The one of a line up of the cars at an overlook would've been killer.
