Anyone have a front set of Axles for sale?

I'm in the garage right now. My cv joint boots are freaking destroyed.

****!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm supposed to go to Florida in like 10 days!

ARGH!

Anyone have a set?!??!!

How hard is it to change the axle yourself? I've changed axles on a neon before... is this pretty much the same?

It's not hard at all. Only special tool you need is the big socket for the axle nut - It is a pretty straightforward job that shouldn't take long at all.

...which i have in my brand new craftsman 151 piece mechanics set Call me if you locate some we can do them tommorow if you can pick them up.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
Advanced Auto, or Auto Zone, should be able to get you some axles the next day, about $60 each.

Easier than a Neon axle to replace, just make sure you have the right size pin remover, I can do one side in about 30 minutes

To add to what Huck said....I got two from Advance Auto a few months back, with a lifetime warranty at around 60 each. Use the trick Beav popularized earlier, i.e., remove the three bolts at the bottom of the A-arm. This (along with removal of the pin holding the axle to the transaxle) allows you to pull out on the front assembly enough to get the axles out and relieves the need for an alignment when the job is done.

Did the same here - also if you do not have the right size pin then the right size allen wrench will do nicely as well.
