Tranny rebuild gone wrong

Here's one fer ya!

Just got my tranny rebuilt, under warranty because the torington bearing between the tourque conv and whatever is next to it bit the dust.

They've replaced every sprag, fernortner, purple fanozinator, muffler bearing etc in the case. I also had them install a transgo kit. Now, it's back together but still at the shop. Road test gone wrong. Car starts out in 2nd then shifts directly to 4th. Turns out there is now no power getting to the solenoids. This was working when I brought the car to them two weeks ago!

Does this sound familier to anyone and what might you suggest. The tech and myself are very frustrated.

Thanks in advance.

Randy

Significant Technical Input
I may be wrong but I believe Subaru supplies their rebuilts with new harnesses because the wiring gets pretty brittle. Maybe a bit of rough-housing went on during the r&r and there's a broken wire or two.

Perfect example why you should always get a remanufactured not just a rebuilt transmission.

Good luck to you...its spring and you want to be out enjoying the weather driving your car.

Good luck Randy. I can imagine how bad you want your car back. It always seems to happen like that doesn't it. Hope everything goe ok.

I wish you the best of luck.

Replacing a solenoid is a relatively easy task, so hopefully you will be driving the SVX by the time you read this. I've got my fingers crossed for you (that's why my speeelllling is so bad).
