WTB Outback or Forester
Hi all,
LOng time, no "see." Couldn't find a proper thread, so I guess I'll post here. Looking to find an Outback or Forester, as low miles as possible for under 8 grand. PM me if you have one, or know of someone who does. I know, and trust many of you, and will only buy from those I trust, or someone they vou h for. Thank y'all in advance.

I just sold a VERY clean yellow silver 2000 5 speed done, with 126k, for $3900.
I am telling you this only as a comparitive car/number.

Thank you, Tom. We're looking at a nice 2001 Outback Limited Sedan with 120K. Leather, heated seats, for 6,000 (Shari talked 'em down from 6,995). If we buy it, I'll probably be looking for the portion of the dash around the glove box. It has some sun damage and that will drive me crazy.
Anyone else? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

I just sold a 2001 outback sedan limited with 169,000 miles for $3750. Again, to compare numbers.

Or on the other side of the spectrum sold my wife's 03 GT wagon in near excellent shape with 48k on the odo for $10750 in June. Just be sure that if you're around the 100k that the timing belt service was done or priced accordingly.
