New owner twice over

Hello all. Just signed up. I picked up 2 SVXs a couple days ago, a 92 and a 95, both with about 35k miles on them. I have a lot to learn, as I am new to Subaru ownership. I have my friends at Turn In Concepts to thank for converting me over, and I am already getting a lot of input on what to do first. The first drive we had home in them was in the snow and they are awesome. I've always loved the look of them and had to jump on these two. Any other central Ohio owners on here?

So I guess you're TurnInConcepts' friend
...as mentioned in your post haha
Welcome.
Yeah they're great as long as your keep the right tires on em.
dedicated snow tires isn't a bad move.

did you get that silver and I think it was a claret combo that were in rough shape?
If so, thanks for saving them. There is potential there and it'd be a shame to just crush em.
Can't wait to see them!

Is Speedklix serious? How can a 35K car be in poor shape??

Welcome to the Network, I hope we can help you if you have work to do on your cars.

I think one had been sitting for years and the other had been a mostly complete parts car.
I remember seeing them for sale in OH about 3-4 months back and wishing I had room and time for them.

-edit-
there are other things too... according to my odometer I'm only due for my second oil change
something like "86k" on it now

I saw one that had less than 5K on it which had been in a roll over accident. I don't think they had even had a chance to change the oil.

Yes I have TIC to thank for pointing me at Subies.

Yeah they're great as long as your keep the right tires on em.
dedicated snow tires isn't a bad move.

Absolutely in the plans but likely not until next Winter.

The 92 is white/black top and the 95 is red. Both were from the same owner and I got them from the same dealer in WV. The guy traded them both in on one car and I couldn't leave either one so I took them both. Not to mention TIC needed one to play with. They are actually both really nice. The 92 I think is going to need the rear wheel bearings done sometime soon as well as some rear suspension work. The 95 is good to go, although I think I need to replace the wiper motor. It works, it just might not work for a long time. Anyhow, thanks for the reception and likewise I hope to meet some of you folks in the future.
