Rotate Tires right to left?
Does any body know if there are any problems with removing the tires from the right side rims and replacing them with left side tires? Oh yes of course the right side goes to the left side. I am thinking this may help even out the wear that I can't see on my Conti Extreme Contacts that have about 30K miles on them.

Are you using uni-directional or directional tires? Also, how much -ve camber are you running on your car?
These are typical problems with left-to-right rotation of tires. If wear is really uneven, rotate front-to-back and get a 4-wheel alignment. -Chike

John, if you can't see any wear why worry? The price incurred to dismount and mount four tires, plus balance probably isn't a good value. Remember that as tires wear the shorter tread is of harder compound and rides appropriately (noisier also.) Personally I start looking for new tires at the half-way mark as I hate the crappy ride of worn tires.
Other considerations: asymmetric tires mount one way to the outside, causing normal rotation to become reversed. That could be a potential issue with the tire's belt/rubber adhesion. Same with tread load changes incurred by swapping tires used to carrying weight to inside or out. Ask any alignment tech (not the schmucks behind the counter that only know what they read) what method results in the fewest potential problems and they'll tell you 'front to rear.' I'll be putting on new shoes in the next few weeks. I'm leaning towards the Kumho ASX. I don't trust Yokos over 10k miles, the P-Zero Neros look good but the Kumhos are $100/set less and my experience with Kumho is that they are 'round' and stay round.

They are good for what they are - an all season tire. Good in the rain, good grip on dry pavement. So far they are wearing pretty evenly. They aren't super sticky by any means when compared to my azenis, but for the price I am pleased with them. I would rate their wear and ride above the yoko avs decibels and yoko avid v4. After going through 3 sets of yokos - db's, avids, and avs sports, I am also no longer a fan of yokohamas price or performance.
