Antenna

I already searched for this and couldn't find it. If it's there, then my fault, but please don't reply to this by saying "The search bar works wonders". Anyway, Im not getting power to my antenna and it wont retract, anyone have any ideas?

when you say power, do you mean 12V power or signal from the radio?

There's three wires going back there (or so I remember). One is at ground (black), one at battery level (white) and one that gets a signal from the radio (black/green?).

Stock or aftermarket radio?

Just started?

Dumb question...how cold is it outside? On more than one occasion I've had my antenna freeze while in the up position.

Open the trunk and listen to see if there are any sounds when you try to make it retract. If so, maybe the plastic part is not hooked into the motorized part. Look in the How-Tos and see what it looks like in there and you may also have to clean and oil it. Good luck.

Is that also a reason why it will partially retract?

Mine will only go about half way down.

The antenna is completely up. It makes no noises whatsoever and it just happen out of the blue. It wasn't a gradually thing where it would stick a little and then it stopped completley.

It's definitely a loose/faulty connection, then, or the motor's fried. If it were a mechanical problem with the antenna retraction mechanism, you'd still hear the motor. I'd start by checking/cleaning the connections at the motor.
