OEM wiper arms...

My rear wiper wasn't wiping cleanly where the middle of the blade sweeps, and a new blade didn't cure the problem.

I replaced the wiper arm with a new OEM part, because that had solved the problem on a previous vehicle, but it didn't take care of the problem on the SVX.

I hate having a smeary rear window. Should I try a new blade on the new arm, or is something else going on?

I use rainx on mine. That way I don't need to use the wiper very often.

PS I have a SVX logo on my bottle of RainX.

A smeary rear stinks! Sounds like the spring may be losing some of its tension. That, or, you need to pull the arm, and make sure it's pressed tightly onto the spindle. Try pulling the arm and pressing it back onto the spindle. If that doesn't take care of it, you may need a new arm.

Of course it didn't rain today,but there was a lot of spray from the melting snow. The ANCO refills worked fine using the squirts. BOBB

just a recommendation - i've used Bosch Micro-edges several times before, but now i have Trico Silicone blades and i like them better.
