I have Cooper Cobra GTH's on mine, stock size on stock rims...they seem to handle their own in the snow, they're not snow tires by any means, but if i were you since winter is almost over, dont worry about 100% snow tires now.

I have dunlop SP Sport A2's on my stock wheels for winter. They are Mud+Snow rated, and are the best tires ive ever bought.

Mike,

I want to see those tires at Reading IV, so please park next to SUBYDOO.

Keep those tires for summer and get a set of cheap rims and throw some good snow tires on them.

There's snow coming your way! It just stopped snowing here.

michelin wintermasters are currently on my car, and the thing is absolutely amazing in the snow. the car will certianly step out of line if you're going too fast, but the michelin's help you to keep the slide 100% predictable, which can be FUN!

I have Bridgestone Blizzaks

on the stock rims. They are the best snow tires I have ever owned. They are quiet...and thery are getting good wear.

Next winter I am going to go with TOYO observe tires. I think they are the best with walnut shells and all. I hope squirrels don't eat them.

Winter tires

I run Yoko A540s on my SVX. I have had no problems whatsoever with snow. So long as you have AWD and don't plan on driving through 3 feet of heavy snow. They'll work fine. I just drove through nearly 2 feet with mine to go skiing during our last storm. Only problem I had was keeping the tranny temp. up. The tires were discontinued but you can still find them. If not the replacement is the A550 I think.
