That was great and great pics. I was going to do the same to see if, between the door ajar or tranny warning light, if either could be removed and replaced with a real tranny temp gauge. But since you've been there maybe you can answer that.???

nice job, Lwin! i keep my instrument lighting on the second lowest dimmer setting in hopes of preserving my bulbs, but when they kick, i'll have this to refer to.

Can anyone help with dash removal? Mice have eaten through many wires and rather then try to patch all the wires I'm replacing the entire dash.
Can anyone help, please ????

I just looked in the how-to docs and couldn't find it. This was the closest thing I found to a dash removal how-to:

Yep...I guess Seraph's How to should be renamed to instrument cluster removal. It does not explain how to remove the entire dash.
Yes, I looked in the how to's as well and there are no instructions for this. Not surprising since I doubt very few have done the entire dash removal. Still looking for help...Anyone?

Haynes/Chiltons repair manual? I haven't looked in mine for dash removal, but I seem to recall there being a section in all the other ones for other cars I've owned...
