Healing just fine. Planning on autoxing in early March so I'd say by April I'll be back on two wheels for sure (lost 35lbs which would be great if it wasn't all muscle). Got permission to drive Tuesday so yesterday I went over to an empty lot and did some drifting (docs orders of course to make sure I'm good to go). Shoulder is the most painful thing now but only if I try to lift it above my chest.

Re: New activity for Reading this year.

Dave, get in touch with me if you need any help getting this set up. I know a lot of the guys in the BMR SCCA through the shop and hill climbs. I may also be interested in joining in on this, put the new car through its paces so to speak (provided I can make it to the meet still that is, still a long way off for me to be able to tell). Put me down as a tentative for the moment.

I assume you are planning to use the lot across and below the bridge? The local club used to AutoX there a number of years ago, so it is definitely a good place to do it.

But Harry, I need to have enough movement to be able to reach out a chock the b$tch to death at court on Friday don't I? Plus provided I get my gas leak fixed I'm hoping to do the first Solo event in the TVR on March 10 and I need enough stregth and movement to turn the non power assisted steering wheel. The event is at the Reading Hotel so I should be able to get some ideas on the type of course they use there.

Great news, glad the stars finally aligned. Might want to post up a typical day so people can plan accordingly rather the rising on Sunday and jetting long before OT awakes from his drunken slumber.

Re: New activity for Reading this year.

I would suggest that we start fairly early - lots to set up to get ready: cones, timing gear, etc. Additionally, people will want to head home at least by mid-afternoon. And let's be sure people will be expected to work the corners between their runs.
Also, are there any plans for a charge for the autocross? There usually is. And have trophies a possibility? Will the folks setting it up charge anything?
Just some thoughts.
Harry
