Haha, I know that feeling.

Dislike: the weight. could stand to go on a diet.

Like: everything else, even the quirky bits.

Re: Your Likes & Dislikes about the SVX

Likes:
Interior build quality
High speed stability
Head-turning looks
(I really like the pearl white color of mine, too.)

Dislikes:
Lack of trip computer
Lack of a warning light to indicate low washer fluid
I can't get comfortable in the seats
Frumpy stance when at stock ride height.

I also think subaru should have made the exhaust note more aggressive. It would have made the car more appealing.

Re: Your Likes & Dislikes about the SVX

Likes:
Exclusivity, as in rarely see another like it.
Built like a tank; ask me about survivability in a crash. (But also adds to other owner's dislikes about weight.)
Effortless acceleration at speed always impresses me.
50/50 split rear seat on later models.
Winter/Summer wiper parking is innovative.
Ability to accommodate rear seat passengers safely for short trips.
Still beautiful to look at from most angles despite its age.
Power mode, especially under switch control.
Comments people make after really looking at the car for the first time make me proud to have such great taste.

Dislikes:
Lack of reasonably priced handling improvements.
Susceptibility to being riced out due to low price on the used car market.

Overall, I LOVE, not like mine.

Glenn

Yeah, regarding placement, it bugs me that the steering wheel and stalk-mounted controls hide dash buttons. Subaru really blew it here. Older Subies had big buttons on pods flanking the instrument cluster.

Other minor gripes (as mentioned hereabouts many times before):
—dreadful plastic "woodgrain" bits
—flimsy composite board spare tire well cover that would have been cheap in my ex-wife's '78 Chevette
— glove box functionality leaves lots to be desired
