Smile I'm a lucky man

Holy smokes folks I am in 7th heaven. I just purchased my dream car a 1981 Datsun 280zx Turbo in mint condition. Hey I LOVE my SVX but I grew up wanting a 280zx after owning a 1972 240z while going through University. Now I have my 280zx for my summer toy and the SVX for everyday use. Can you ask for anything better? The 280ZX is a black and gold with beige leather interior, T-tops. And I thought my SVX was in good shape, this thing puts it to shame. Will post pics soon....
Oh I'll be looking for a top notch car cover for use outdoors. Any suggestions on brand names... or good places to buy one....

Re: I'm a lucky man

That car looks awesome! Glad to see you got your dream.

My dream car is the SVX... Though not the one I have currently, lol. I want a Claret just like Mikes... He has my total dream car.

Re: I'm a lucky man

It's owned by a 73 year old gentleman who kept it covered in the garage and babied it like you would not believe. original 152,000 kms.

You just need the turbo light bar for the rear.

Re: I'm a lucky man

Thanks guys. It is sweet isn't it. Now I just have to make sure it stays in that condition. No winters and a car cover whenever it's not in use....

Re: I'm a lucky man

I'd definatly keep it in the garage covered and away from rain, winter and other wet conditions as these things are known to ROT heavily and flake like a potatoe chip. There is one of these exactly the same model, color about 10 min. from me and it's been sitting on the grass threw all seasons without a cover and not drivin. Don't ask me what it looks like.Yours on the other hand looks awsome!

Yea, I don't have a garage but I just ordered a custom cover for the summer and it will be put into storage for the winter months and babied in the summer months...
