Random "How do I?" questions

How do I:

1.) ...put the thermostat back in? I've got a new gasket on it and can push it where it goes, but it doesn't seem to want to seat properly. Never mind, it only goes in one way... hahaha.

2.) ...remove the coolant reservoir?

If you haven't guessed, I'm overhauling the cooling system right now, and already have stuff apart.

Pry/pull off the entire black top, I don't think there are any "release" points, just get in there and pull it off. Once it's off, the tank is held on by 2 bolts (10mm head)
