MRS 17J was on the Pacific Hwy at Gordon. I was travelling North, 17J was heading south.

Are you free on that drive weekend i suggested Jason?

Sat 25 is fine with me - When i spoke to Paulie last week i think he actually said he was free the weekend before (the one you are hinting about Jason). That weekend is fine although it is one of my best friends birthday dinner on the Saturday so i may be over the limit! I'm sure i can refrain- a drive is better than partying

While interested, I've been volunteered to cater a BBQ for Heather (the wife's) dive club at Mallabar beach.
However, if other SVX's happen to be cruising by the car park.......

But wait, what's that?, I blinked and almost missed being passed by an SVX this morning!
Pearl with wing (couldn't see the rims) black on yellow plates; YUL-514 at around 9:00 on the M5 heading toward Sydney.

That SVX is currently for sale!

Via a bit of sleuthing, and looking at the phone number in the ad, it would appear this is Martin Frosh's SVX.
Martin was the host of the big drive day down South last year, see comment in earlier post;

The ad mentions high milage, but a lot of this would be running up from Bowral to Sydney, the sort of thing SVX's love.
Wonder why he's still trying to sell it?

Whilst at Logan Hyperdome at about 10:00 am (13 Sept) I was looking at an old ugly BMW convertable and wondering why anyone would drive such a thing in daylight, especially when people could see it and then wisking past me went a Pearlie.

Looked OK but was gone before I could even wave.

Does this belong to anyone here?

Kenn your comment about the convertable BMW was a classic.....

On Wednesday night i was taking my gramdma out to dinner in Epping. Waiting in a line of cars on Carlingford road to get onto epping road i noticed in the far distance the unmistakable outline of an svx pulling into the mobil.Woohooo i shrieked and my gran wondered how i had spotted it so far away....to which i replied that my svx radar is always on full alert. I pulled into the servo and parked behind Silver 92 where the guy (Matt/ Matthew?) was filling up. My grandma was sitting in the car and told me that Matt (and his son? the boy with him) looked in disbelief as i accosted them with my overenthusiasm for ze svx.

Anyway, Matt has only had it for 4 weeks and it was the one for sale in Lindfield. He's heaps keen for a cruise and i asked him to come on the 10th Oct. I'm just about to email him this website address so i'm sure we'll be joined by a new member shortly
(pats self on back...well done)

Then i'm going to wash my car for the weekend and hopefully i'll see the yellow svx in Dee Why again!
