Repair Day Meet Parts List
In order to get lights, O-rings, and other small parts, post the jobs that you want done. I will get back to you with the parts that you will need, or I will pick up the little stuff that is needed like O-rings, dash lights, etc.
So, post and list the repairs you would like to be done on your car.

The only parts I need are Power Steering O-Rings.
Besides what I listed before, I could also use my center caps painted. What is the best type of paint to use? Thanks

I need the light that illuminates the "spot/room" light buttons. Also, at the seafood meet someone said something about using double-sided tape to hold my body panel in place, since it's slightly out of alignment because the thing holding in broke.

...so is the Repair Day an appropriate event for learning to do an oil & filter change, if I show up with my own stuff?
...and when is Repair Day? If there's been a date posted, I musta missed it.

I might have missed the date too, if there is one, let me know so I can make up a page for it on the site. We're getting a lot of new hits this week and I doubt any of the regulars are checking in there, I think there are potential new members out there watching quietly.

Jim - yes, we can change your oil. Bring the oil and a filter. Remember that you will need 7 qts (6.2 or so).
I will try to post a date. We will try to have it between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will also post a list of lights and you can tell me how many of each so I can order them for you. I will have the O-rings for the PS fix and the oil dipstick fix. I will post some other stuff as well.

repair day, Mount Vernon Area
I'm very interested to attend, please post date as soon as finalized. I also have several lights out: the overhead spot button internals, the shift quadrant, and both lcd's in the stereo (how do you fix those??)
Also seeing 12-1500 rpm idle when fully warmed up-have just replaced TPS, PCV valve, and water temp sensor. Might I need O2 sensors? Thanks Rob
