Oh, certainly better than that - at least welterweight, perhaps even cruiser weight.

Hi Bill

Glad you have managed to unlock the keyboard. Haven't seen those flashy TN colours for a while.

BTW, we have a county here called Tipperary, famous for being awfully far from everywhere, really. Their sporting colours are blue and yellow, fine strong colours like your RW&B.

Any good bourbon during your retreat?

Joe

Hey Joe, nice to talk to you again. Yes, I sort of stayed away from the computer this summer, for a couple of reasons, the frustrations of a dial-up connection being one of them.

No, I refrained mightly, even though there are some tasty spirits left from the April get-together. But I have been thinking of late that they need some attention.

One small point of correction - that's actually a small Texas flag, in the shape of the state of TX, where I'm from originally, although I certainly regard TN as home now. I'll have to put up one of those, I quess.

OOPs.

Just gone and offended 'bout a million Lone Star people. Sorry folks. Consider it innocence, I don't want Jaylin after my hide.

Had some biker friends over from the UK for a tour of Ireland. Trouble is, we also did a tour of my bit of Scotland while they were here. Did you know that Welsh people from the valleys take a lot of filling up??

Have to do a little restocking. You gotta watch that non-passive evapouration, put you in 4WS mode if you weren't careful.

Joe

The operative word here would be evaPOURation, wouldn't it?

I bought a six pack o' beer today, because it seems like everyone that comes over when asked if they'd like a drink asks for a beer. Anyhew, I did all the housework and such and thought, "ya know, I haven't had a beer in ages...." Ummm, don't come to my house and ask fer a beer.

Yeah Bill,

The non-American English does have an implication in this case. And the word case is over the top, we are down to bottle here. Also, can empathise with Eddy, the weather has a bad effect on the longevity of beer-cans, it is not your fault.

Tell the friends, "please visit, but BYOB"

Joe

Yeah, well, I'm just getting warmed up. Wait till I hit full stride. Of course, nobody can keep up with the Fastest Fingers in the Southeast, aka R. W. Johnson.
