A possible interim SVX for Jamsvx!
An SVX has just appeared:
1992 165,000km registration is up in September (a few days away!) he bought the car at auction 4 years ago and says that he does not pay much attention to the paintwork its black tranny was done in September 2000 and I saw this a year ago! He wanted $19,000 then.....and now he is down to $13,500 since he is moving to an apartment and the SVX does not fit! When I saw it the paint was in a sad condition and the doors were not aligned with the roof properly, suggesting a shunt? I was thinking of offering him $10,000 AU......if I get some life out of it it could be worth it and would allow me to drive a high k one and if a low k one came along, I could still have an SVX daily but without clocking up k's on the better one. Opinions???? What should I do???? He said that the car has to go since he cannot keep it.....agggghhh!!! Dilemma! Thanks Jamsvx

If both of the doors aren't aligned, it sounds to me like it may have seen a major collision.
But hey if you can get him to come down to your price then with a fairly new tranny It may be a good buy, to put on another one if you get one that looks nice but has a bad tranny. that and you could sell the parts as well. or as you said keep it as a daily |
