Interesting sighting today
Just a few minutes ago. I was driving west on NE 85th from Redmond to Kirkland and pulled behind some familiar tail lights at a red light in Redmond. It was unique though, a shade of teal, stock SVX color I think, kinda like Matt's. But the bottom panels all the way around were painted a light tan color or something similar. Bumpers and everything. Much like an Outback. Followed it halfway to Kirkland and finally was able to pull alongside. Female driver, didn't see much reaction, you know how my windows are so dark though she may not have known I was looking. Right after that I got stuck a few cars lengths back and then the lanes merged for construction and then she turned off to the right. I was on break from work and didn't have time to follow, plus wasn't sure how that would go over.
Let's see, that makes about 12 SVXes (not repeats, different colors and mods, etc) I can recall seeing in Redmond. (Not counting mine, Matt's, or Jim's... or for that matter any of you guys from Todai last week either. )

...stalking again, eh? Sounds like the same car I saw last week on Union Hill Road in Redmond. I couldn't make out the colors, just that it was a dark color on top and a light color on the bottom w/ female driver.

That's right, I think I remember you talking about that now. I know you have seen a ton of different ones around this area too. Funny most of the other members here consider it a rare event to see another SVX "out in the wild" (not a organized meet, friend, etc), yet many of those members are in a region where they can have meets with 30-40 cars for a weekend easy.
I'm jealous! This is Microsoftland, doesn't everyone that drives a rare vehicle automatically search the web for a group that drives the same car?

I have Microsofties in the building on each side of me; "rare" becomes a relative term. Audi's and Bimmers and sometimes even Ferraris are not rare in those parking lots. Over there, a Toyota Corrola is rare....

heh heh True! By referencing we are Microsoft land, I was referring to the whole web thing. Like people round here should automatically all be web savvy. Since that seems to be the missing factor here, there's lots of the cars, and I would think by how some of them are modded or well taken care of lots of true enthusiasts, it's just that none of them seem to be able to find us.
Oh well. Merry Christmas!!!

Gee, maybe the price of my Corolla just went up - it's rare. If I play my cards right, I could trade it straight across for my Blue SVX!
