Re: solarsvx is back in another svx,

thanks guys

the new tie rod ends are going in this weekend, replaced the arest me blue turn signal lights, getting a factory center tail bar installed soon

little by little it will get there

trying to determine what kind of rims to get ,

i was thinking of going different with these but the price is way out there
http://www.ccwheel.com/wheelprofiles...hp?id=Classic4

always been a fan of these they look great on some evo's and sti's

i am also wanting to remove the vynll stuff he installed on the hood and mirrors, but im affaraid to see what under it or if it will even come off at all, he carbon wrapped them,

Oh, I just thought you were thinking that specific wheel. So I just wanted to be sure you saw that.
No worries

Re: solarsvx is back in another svx,

update status on the new svx

installed new tie rod ends last weekend after 2 hours and a few busted knuckles they are in , the car needs a major alignment now

i removed the back vent shade after 2 hours of scraping with razor blades and finger nails lucky my wife was there to help => he must have used 4 tubes of silicon on there !

i removed the LED fog lights i hated them ! but might be someone else's liking i will list them up for sale for cheap if anyone is interested.

also i need to have the windows tinted apparently he did tint them but only a clear polarized tint which doesn’t do to much in Florida heat

as far as the exhaust custom system its complete crap !! the welds are horrible the bends are very kinked the mufflers are all loose, the car sounds horrible after 4,000 rpm nothing like the deep ruble of the evo,

http://s791.photobucket.com/albums/y...6.jpg&newest=1

http://s791.photobucket.com/albums/y...g%26newest%3D1

that being said looks like I’m going to have to completely redo the exhaust headers back with mandrel bent pipes and such

as far as the rims and tires go i will be replacing those very soon also, just haven’t decided on what kind and size but most likely end up with 19"s again, i know a little big but they compliment the car very nicely but then again i might go with 18"s i have had both on the svx's in the past

i also went ahead and rolled the fenders after 3 svx's i have it down to a fender rolling art now =>

just giving every one a heads up,

con i can maybe use the front part of the piping where the headers are but the rest has to be redone,

the under side is very very clean and rust free from the last one

i usualy take a grinding wheel and make a slit in the inside lip part of the fender and make a slit ever 1/4 inch or so then come back with a crow bar or flat had screw driver and bend the tabs in, after im done i take some clear silicone and silicone the back side to prevent rusting and paint flaking,

im sure there are are better or other ways of doing thats just the way i know,

Re: solarsvx is back in another svx,

Very nice car. I really like those rims, if you change them are you going to sell those on here? I would like to have them.
