Re: fog lights

Got mine here:

http://store.candlepower.com/tugoseyeh355.html

They have been in about 2 years now. No more oncoming drivers flashing headlamps when my fogs are on.

Make that +2 for PIAA

When I drive with headlights and fog lights on, Motorists frequently flash their lights; not because they are blinded, but they see four lights and assume they are my high beams. Once I flash my high beams at them they understand...

If I move the light control just enough, I can get the high beams AND the fog lights to illuminate at the same time.

In very snowy weather in the winter, my headlights are disconnected and I use only the fogs for illumination, occasionally supplemented by my high beams if needed. The fogs are more than adequate to see and be seen. Plus the beam pattern does not add reflected glare from the snow to oncoming drivers. The beam is so low that looking through my windshield, I cannot see snow falling while driving.

Re: fog lights

I never had a high-beam-look problem with my Always-on-for-12-years fogs because I never messed with my murky-for-the-last-10-years lenses.

There's no room on this board for blatant, juvenile "flamebait-ing", as they call it. He was making a harmless sarcastic joke at your expense, yes, but get over it.

Try to grow up a little more before posting again.

I'm sure Joe'll be by soon to set you straight and possibly have to lock a thread which was, up this point, informative and helpful to members, as it should be.

right

I've got bigger problems than a set of lightbulbs now, besides, the info needed was posted and debated over, so in my mind, the topic's finished. I went with PIAA's, hopefully they weren't a waste of money.
