They have a couple of tech centers here in Michigan including one about 20 minutes from here; that battery may have been sent here. Yes. Johnson Controls is who I actually dealt with. I figured no one would really know it was "Optima" if I wrote Johnson Controls. I'm pretty sure the battery was sent to Michigan.

i have read on NASIOC several times that Optima batteries are crap, or at least the ones from the last few years are.

Customer service may be great, but i'd rather not have to deal with great customer service and a damaged/stranded vehicle, especially considering they cost a bit more than a Diehard.
