Remembering Apollo 11

Its hard to believe this happened 40 yrs ago with the technology we had at the time. Just think if our country had this passion now. Enjoy

Re: Remembering Apollo 11

Yes, very hard to believe it happened with 1960's technology. Some would say impossible to believe, in fact.

Did anyone see the chunks falling of the Space Shuttle today?? That is with 2009 technology!!

Sure Apollo 11 landed on the moon. My SVX landed there too.

Ahh. The rare "Moon Race" edition. I've always wanted one of those!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, scotch in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA !!!!!

Lol! The "Moon Race" Edition came out in 1992. Some marketing ploy by Subaru Australia.

You got little decals to stick on the rear of the SVX that said "Apollo by Subaru".

Sorry. I need to get out more.

It's tough to get out more when there's no atmosphere out there.
