Original wheels

Hi guys, I am looking for set of all four original SVX`s wheels to not ruin my existing one anymore while changing summer and witer tires. If you have any idea where to get them it would be very appreciated:-).
Thanx a lot!
Petr

Re: Original wheels

Hi Petr!

How's it going, lad?

Petr, sorry for the lack of reply. It indicates more that not too many cars are breaking in England now, SVXes are getting scarce, rather than indifference.

It's a pity you did not ask 2 months ago, I think I could have got you a set from Graham, but they are gone now.

I'll check around and see if anybody has what you need.

Joe

Re: Original wheels

Hi Joe,
what a shame, I am looking from time to time on ebay but no luck. And take them from the US is expensive last chance which I want to avoid.
Please keep an eye on them, there is one waiting for spare set!
My car is getting better and better, almost everything replaced and now I am enjoying it without fear what else will go to hell. The best investment was buying another as a spare car. This I would strongly recommend to anybody who wants to keep his SVX for longer time. It saved me fortune and still have lot of parts to use. Unfortunately wheels were taken by previous owner.
Last thing I have to live with is problem with A/C – working not working. This troubles me from time I have bought it with no significant change.
Well on the other side I am missing to be busy with a rare car project so I am looking around to buy new toy. For now I have in scope Jaguar XJS-C, BMW850 CSI and finally Porsche 928 S4 for which I am on hunt now. These cars were at their times the ones I always wanted and now they are relatively very cheap to buy (unfortunately Jag XJ220 is not for sale). I have learnt too much on my SVX at the beginning so have roentgen eyes and very sensitive ears, can recognize piece of crap from well maintained car but bad looking from outside = good price.
Take care, probably will be at Ireland during holidays to see Intel Fab once again.

Re: Original wheels

Petr,

I have four almost perfect wheels from my 1992parts car that had only 45 K miles. How to ship them is the problem.

Re: Original wheels

Hi Ray, it is not maybe as big problem as it looks like. Friend of mine runs business with US and Japan mod parts here in Europe and has some stock in LA where he is consolidating stuff and then ships all in containers to Europe. If you really have all original wheels with no damages please send me a quote incl. cost of shipping to LA. Just give me the 5th offer, the best one, now to save time with bargaining. Just joking, it is professional deformation from IT business.:-)
Thanx a lot, Petr
