WTB: huge list of stuff

My car is turning into a money pit. I priced all the stuff I need from the local Subaru parts place, and the whole list comes in at just under $2700.

Obviously I would like to save a little cash here and there if I could.

The list:
Fuel Tank*
Sending unit
Rear diff bearings (all 4)*
Timing Belt
Timing Belt Tensioner
Timing Belt Covers (all 3 pieces)
Water Pump
Thermostat & seal
Lower Rad Hose*
Cam & Crank seals

Some of this stuff I am just replacing because I will be "in there" anyway, and I don't know if it is bad or not. The major issues are marked with an asterisk.

Thanks.

There's usually a timing belt kit on Ebay from Prefered Components at a decent price, sometimes there's a water pump packaged with it.

you would be suprised how much of that stuff advanced auto carries. Also when you say rear diff bearing, do you mean rear wheel bearing?

No, I mean pinion and carrier bearings inside the rear differential.

This is for the modified car. It uses the stock diff housing and parts with a 3.90 ring gear from an older Legacy turbo, so presumably the bearings are original, with 107,000+ miles on them.

I would only replace the lower radiator hose with a new one. It isn't worth the amount you save to get a used one.

I marked everything we have here for you if you want. also added commentary on what you should buy new. The rear, get the R180 and sti axles with it as it is far superior than the 160 anyway... I would also go back to the shop that did the work and ream them out for screwing up the rear diff. Prob not bearings.... its probobly because they didn't pattern the gears properly.

Tom
