My trip to New York :)

I set off yesterday on a drive to New York to visit Chris (SVXMAN2001) and help him out with some issues with his car and such. I had a great time, and YES, I verified the existance of his SVX! Chris had a chance to take me for a drive and show me some of the surrounding area. What a beautiful part of the country. I didnt really want to come home today. (I'm glad I did though, because I showed my cavalier today, and won first place in my class! yay!)

Attached is a pic showing a fun and scenic road that Chris says was used as the backdrop for a BMW ad. WOW!

Chris & Mike,

The first photo seems to be an SVX on Storm King Higway (US 9A) in the upper Hudson Valley. Where exactly is Eldred, NY? Is it by Kingston or Poughkepsie, NY ?

I'm gonna let Chris field this one. I think I know the answer to that, but he is the expert.

Nah, I think that is the Delaware River just north of Port Jervis.

DING DING DING YOUR RIGHT MATTSKI!, it's just about 5 miles north of port jervis.
-Larry Poughkeepsie is about an hour away from where I live, oh and mat how far is high bridge nj, from long valley, that's where Iam today? Anyway Iam off. You guys think this could be a good place for a potential meet one day? Imagine a picture of that curvy road (hawks nest) lined with all svxes!!

That one was easy. I used to go up to a lake just north of there back when I was young and had more hair. I have seen numerous auto commercials featuring that stretch of road.

Long Valley is about 15 minutes north of High Bridge. Route 513 runs right through both towns.

And that would be a nice place for a meet.

Driving on that road was the funnest thing ever. All the roads in that area are really fun... It would be a great area for a meet... that is if we could get everyone to drive out to nowhere to go to it.
