Steering wheel swap??

Hi there. I was wondering if I can replace my Steering Wheel and airbag with a newer STI or WRX or a sportier subaru steering wheel with airbag...

Somebody done it yet?? From what I know airbags have only two wires, I guess the connectors should be very similar..

Anybody??

It will fit

The splines on the steering wheel shafts are all the same, so mechanically, the steering wheel will fit with some small alterations.
The airbags are a different story - my wheel diidn't have one. I tried a few different resistors to simulate the stock airbag across the connector to try to get the airbag light to go out and ultimatley removed the airbag light bulb altogether.

Damnit, I did searched for this after posting... but it showed me so many results.... anyways....

If I cant have the airbag working there is no way I want to swap the wheel for an STi or WRX.... in that case I'll just get an aftermarket wheel with no air bag...

Question. They all say the airbags work with a different voltage right?? Is there a way we can just adjust the output voltage of the airbag line?? Where can I find the right voltage???

Momo sells aftermarket steering wheels with airbags right? Are those universal or you have to adjust something???

There's gotta be a way to do this

I have an 03 wrx wheel and an STi wheel like the one pictured. I did not hook up the airbag out of fear of the triggering voltages being different and my airbag deploying accidentally.
