torn boot

my front passenger side outer boot is torn, i dont unable to fix the boot for a little while, what is a good way to clean it out so that the dirt in there doesnt strip the nuckle??

Uh, if you clean it out it wont have any grease in it to keep it lubed. Then it will definatly go bye bye.
If its only going to be alittle while, dont worry.....to much.

yeah don't worry about cleaning it till you replace the boot, some people have seen a lot of life out of ripped boots the key is to keep adding grease to it so it doesn't get low

I would just buy a new cv joint and not wast time trying to fix the boot. There less then a $100 at napa.
