So for five years....

...I've been enjoying my SVX. Sure, it's showing signs of living it's entire life in the rust belt: it started to show some orange last fall in the quarter-panel,
where surface rust has begun. The ashtray linkage broke, so I've got it in the forever-down position. The plastic broke off the trunk-release lever, and I've got as much into it as I bought it for. But yesterday some guy passed me in an Outback sedan, and turned onto a back, country-like twisting road. It's quite rural around here, so I decided to let him have it: I double-stomped...
caught up to him real quick-like, then blew by at the exit of a long sweeping right-hander like he was standing still. My heart is still pumping, and I never saw that car again. When he passed me, he was going at least 90mph, and had his thumb (I think) up in the air, so I didn't feel too badly about returning the favor! BTW: I don't stomp on her often....and I must say at 145K, it still feels like brand-new!

If you never saw the car again, then how did he pass you? Just curious.

Oh, and IBTL.

Gotcha. Found it hard to contain my enthusiam I guess......
Does it make you feel any better that it was a deserted rural road with no houses or traffic, with clean sight-lines, and I used to have an IMSA and
SCCA driving license? OK. My bad. Carry on.....
