Of course, my CRX is far from stock with a B16 engine swap, LSD, and a very nice suspension set up for autocrossing, plus a fair amount of weight reduction (but still has A/C and full interior).

My fiancee's completely stock 88 CRX Si is only a little bit slower than the SVX, and part of its disadvantage is that it needs a new clutch.

Now, a 5-speed SVX might be able to beat my CRX to 60mph, and it'd be interesting to go against one at the track. Heck, since I've gotten the ECUTune stage 1 chip installed in my SVX, it might do a better job of keeping even with the CRX now.

Granted, there are a lot of idiots out there in Hondas, and for me, most other Hondas are nothing but sources for parts for my CRXs. But there are a lot of very nicely done and very fast Hondas out there that will blow away any SVX 0-60. How many street driven SVXs are running 12s? The same goes for handling too, with the 88-89 Civic hatch being the top car in its class for autox. As for high cruising speed, the fastest you can go legally is 75-80, and any Honda (except maybe for the CRX HFs)can do that easily.

Maybe if you guys want respect for the SVX from Honda owners, you should try giving a bit of respect to their cars. If you posted on that board with the same attitude I'm seeing here, I'm not suprised that they put down your cars.
Maybe but somehow i doubt it

Mind you maybe that wasnt the best way to go about it but you didnt need to say all that on the other site. My friends SVX is the one that ran a 13.4 so that part is truthful. But there was no need to copy and paste my profile from this site and bring it to the other one. You went out of your way to try and make me look stupid and that aint cool dawgs.
You were already doing a pretty good job of looking pretty stupid all by yourself and giving SVX owners a bad name in the process. I don't think you could fit any more ignorance or foul language in a post than you managed over there. If there's anything here that aint cool, it's you "dawgs".

Most of what they said was true, and the amount of ignorance they had about the SVX was far less than your own.

Well, there are also some "puzzys" that don't need any of those products, FYI.

Trust me, I have respect for most Honda's that aren't bodged together. I know of one person who has a Civic hatch with a B18 in it. But seriously, come to Idaho and look at all the shoddy Civic's and what people do to them. I respect people who have the right mind to do things right. But it is entirely another factor when my simple presence there is immediately determined upon my arrival by the kind of car that I drive. I bought the car for it's unique quality and graceful looks, and not for the "import industry" norm.

Looking through that board reminds me why I like this board so much.

Please do not post a link to this board over there - we don't need that kind of crap here.

I would never post a link to the SVX World Network on Idahostreetracing.com. The last thing I/we need is a bunch of tossers comming here and ruining it for everyone.

No love for the Subie in Idaho? That is true for the most part, but in the mean time I am doing my best by dishing out all the love I can give to all SVXs that I come across. If you're ever in the Moscow-Coeur d' Alene area, you should let me know so we can hang out. Are you going to the Whitefish Auction meet?
