Hello SVXers-

I will make these things anytime I get an order. Got material to make a couple more on-hand at the moment. You can use your existing EGR tube, you just have to tweak it a little to get it to line up.

That's my FB page with a crude video on how to bend the EGR tube. Links for purchase are also there, etc..

Glad to see someone else get these installed, and that they are working as intended.

I'm afraid so. Can't help myself. Have to keep it automatic, this time, and emissions compliant, and able to traverse a pothole without sending me to the dentist. But, who knows might make the /Drive channel one more time. Won't make Bring a Trailer again unless it goes up for sale and I won't do that if I can restrain myself enough to keep it viable as a daily driver.

Oops. Said I have a '94. Freudian slip. I now have a '95. The past is past. Forward, into the future.

Well Dan the spacers are one option/upgrade that actually helps efficiency and promotes longer engine life, at least those under manifold hoses and sensors.

Re: Phenolic Intake Manifold and TB spacers for the SVX/EG33 available

After painting my engine cover to match the manifold, I put my final "cherry on top" to only notice the new gap that exists because of the throttle body spacer lol. It never occurred to me until I saw it sitting there. Its not that bad. My wife didn't even notice until I pointed it out to her.

On another thought. Would it be beneficial to create a spacer for the EGR tube where it meets the manifold? I am not sure how much heat transfer happens from the tube but it was just a thought during reassembly.

Re: Phenolic Intake Manifold and TB spacers for the SVX/EG33 available

Thanks to you last couple of guys who ordered your spacer kits. They are going to the mail on Monday

Now for a blemish sale. I have one set, from my initial messing around, where I made a couple of small cosmetic mistakes to the set. I think you could use them as they are, but they are not pretty enough to sell at normal price, so I'll blow them out for just $80 shipped. That will include the necessary bolts for installation as well as the US shipping cost.

For the TB spacer, the line along one edge of the spacer was not cut straight. For the Mani spacers, on each there is an 'notch' cut out of them. You can see them on top of the gasket to see what's missing. You could fill this with some sort of epoxy, or just put them on and probably be OK. See the pics.

Contact me steve@x35design.com if you want to buy them. First email in gets them. I will update when they are sold.

You can still see it listed on his website. Not sure if it reflects actual stock or not.

I can make a set anytime. You can order thru my website.

Not sure if I have the material on hand at the moment but it is only a couple days to get it in, if needed.

Reading the first page your partial set only have the lower spacer, the one that sits on the head?

or does it include the upper intake too?
Reason I ask is I dont need the throttle body spacer but i can get that one if the other does not include the upper intake.

Also are you still planning on making the battery hold down? I did not see it on the website.

My manifold spacers go between the head and the bottom of Injector stacks.

I'm selling three packages for the spacers - one of just the head-injector stacks, one of just the TB spacer, and one of all 3 spacers, so you can choose what you want. The needed bolts come with all the kits, but you have to get your own gaskets.

The battery tie down will come someday, when I have some free time to R&D a couple on the mill, not sure exactly when...

Re: Phenolic Intake Manifold and TB spacers for the SVX/EG33 available

After much delay, I will be offering these spacers again.

Should be up on the website sometime this week.

May change to 1/4" or 3/8" thickness due to greater materials availability, still thinking about that one.

On The Racer I have both 1" top and 5/16 on the bottom. Even with race weight hood with no under hood bracing, the manifold still rubs the hood.
3/8" would be great, imho.
