It never fails, well, the brakes do
I took off one of my wheels today to check the condition of the brake pads while I was doing an oil change. The caliper piston seal completely came off, causing one piston to pretty much sieze completely. It never fails, just when I think my car is in top shape, something like this happens The last real repair I did was back in November, which just so happened to be, caliper rebuilds. I know the seals were in place correctly, cause I checked them a week and then a month after the seals were done. About two weeks ago I heard a 'pop' from the wheel where the caliper is now seized, and last week I started hearing a squeel when the car was first moved after sitting, so I'm guessing all three of these events are somehow related.
Now I need to pull the parts off my other car. Atleast it won't cost anything, except time, and I move back in to school in a week

I hear ya man. I have had acceleration problems ever since i bought my SVX. I havent driven it in a week because of my sudden tranny fluid issues. Still waiting to install my cooler BTW. But before the issues with my fluid the car was running absolutley perfect for 4 days. No problems whatsoever and then this crap happened.
