Q:Leaving your car 'unplugged'????

But I was just thinking about ionization and electricity and the sort, but..

What happens if you disconnect the battery from the car and leave it sitting for a while (months)? I just thought that if you dont keep parts with some electricity, it'll crap out?(Sorry for the extreme noobness) What happens to the car in general if you just leave it sitting, but covered with a good car cover? I left home and disconnected the battery terminals from the battery after I waxed the car, then covered it up and went to college. I'm planning to go back in a month or two, but it has been sitting for 2-3 months already. What are the consequences? What should I do to 'refresh' it other than drain/replace fluids?

your car will sit there, and your battery may be drained depending on how long, how old it is, etc.

no, but you'll need to reset the clock and radio stations.

nothing, provided its a good, breatheable cover.

you may need to charge the battery.

Probably should check the air in the tires, too.

There was about 1000-1500 miles on the current oil before I left... didn't really have time other than for a quick claybar of the car and wax
